We had a wonderful stay at Monumental House in Athens. As a couple, we stayed for a week to explore the city. The friendly hostess was easily accessible and helpful. The shared kitchen had good equipment and storage space, and the bathroom was clean and functional. Our room was spacious and had a lovely little balcony overlooking the vibrant streets below. The location was perfect, close to the metro, restaurants, and a supermarket. we loved every aspect of our stay and would highly recommend it.

The architecture of the building was a fascinating insight into the pre-war era. The cozy and comfortable atmosphere created a pleasant stay. The location was excellent, with plenty of restaurants and bars nearby.

There were a few downsides to my experience. The lack of air conditioning was not an issue in September, but it may be uncomfortable during hotter months.

Great location in the city center, close to Syntagma and Monastiraki.

Felt extremely safe, no complaints whatsoever.

Loved being a short stroll away from all the tourist spots. Made me feel like a true explorer, even though I got lost a couple of times. So much fun!

Oh, just a minor detail - I really enjoyed the wake-up call from the construction work right outside my window. Very considerate.
